I AM SO IN LOVE WITH THIS! THE SONG AND THE ANIMATION ARE SO GOOD I AM HAVING AN OUT OF BODY EXPERIENCE PLEASE WATCH THIS YOU WILL NOT BE SORRY
Hi dude! Don’t worry about it.
I still animate, and Homestuck is still a favorite of mine, but the Toonstuck blog hasn’t been touched in a very long time, and I doubt it will be. Sorry about that.
That being said, I still make an effort to do Homestuck animations when I find the spare time to do so!
Music: Protectors of Earth by Two Steps From Hell
Happy 4/13, everyone! I figured y’all deserved a little something for the occasion, so here’s a hastily-compiled and slightly silly preview for After Us.
Yes, it really is nowhere near done right now and late 2015 really is an optimistic estimate. I hope everyone will respect that and be patient! If you want to watch me work on it some time, there’s a link to my livestream account on my YouTube profile and you can follow me there. uvu

meschwitz said: My problem is I learned the word Anubis from neopets and I can’t shake a completely wrong pronunciation (AN-you-biss) and now im broken forever your title will be forever out of my grasp
Pfft, well I can pretty much say the same thing here. Since I originally wrote the character for French class, I tend to use a hard E when saying his name. An-u-bEES.
So I’m trying really, really hard to shake that habit before I have to present him to my class. BUT I DON’T THINK ABOUT IT WHEN I’M DOING IT.
I’m excited to be drawing Little Anubis again, but he needs a better name. ”Little Anubis” sounds so dorky.
His story was originally written in French, and he was “Petit Anubis” and it rhymed, it was great.
But now it doesn’t rhyme and it sounds DUMB.
I’ve started calling him Kid Anubis but….that sounds like Kid Icarus, and that won’t do!

Yeah! Brown, a few shades of dark blue, deep green, a few patches of scattered gold, here and there.
Anubis is often depicted with a white and yellow wraparound skirt, but I think I might change those colors a bit. Perhaps something a little darker. I’m seeing a pretty dark palette for him over all!
Revisiting an old concept for an illustration assignment!
I’ve been recycling kid-god characters since high school. Egyptian and Greek lore, for the most part! Little Anubis always seems to be my favorite.
"Primary form of recreation" more like priMARYAM.
I spent all day on this and I’m mad tired now, but I had a lot of fun hahaha.
